Mr. Flanagan’s experience in the valuation and compliance business has helped build National Tax Search. In addition to providing financial backing during the company’s initial start-up phase, this affiliation has allowed both companies to provide streamlined services for real estate transactions from beginning to end in both the commercial and residential markets.

Currently, Mr. Flanagan serves as the Managing Partner of a nationwide property tax law firm, FlanaganΙBilton, who continues to represent clients on property tax matters for over 40 years. The Chicago-based firm of experienced attorneys and tax consultants provides comprehensive services customized to the property tax requirements of individual portfolios. Prior to entering private practice, the founding partners accumulated 25 years of state and local government services. 

The company’s combined experience covers state and local government property valuations, ad valorem tax appeals, tax sales, trial and appellate level litigation, certified appraisals and other legal matters concerning property taxes. The firm represents more than 1,000 clients including real estate investment trusts, banks, insurance companies, pension funds and REITs with nationwide properties.

Mr. Flanagan graduated from Loyola University, received his Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law and was admitted into the Bar in 1963. Mr. Flanagan is a member of industry organizations such as The Chicago Bar Association,  American Bar Association, and the International Association of Assessing Officers.

Ms. Eshoo has over 25 years of commercial and residential valuation and tax compliance experience from two points of view - property tax consulting and real estate ownership.

Ms. Eshoo founded National Tax Search, LLC in 1996. The decision to found NTS began when Ms. Eshoo watched many of her clients struggle with fragmented technologies and manual processes for tax administration. She envisioned a web-based system that would automate tasks and create efficiency in property tax administration and tax appeal analysis. 

Today, NTS is the ideal partner to simplify clients' property tax processes. NTS provides comprehensive commercial and residential property tax management services for mortgage companies, financial institutions, title companies, insurance companies, pension funds and real estate owners nationwide. Ms. Eshoo's perspective also placed her in a position to assist lending institutions the necessary expertise to interact with tax authorities, culminating in the development of an online tax system, TaxQ^SM.

Ms. Eshoo is a member of industry organizations such as the American Bankers Association, Mortgage Bankers Association, Institute of Property Taxation, Association of Assessing Officers and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Hall of Fame. Due to her dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, Ms. Eshoo has won several awards for the services she offers to the real estate industry. She was honored with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 award in Illinois for Realizing Business Potential. She was also awarded a Stevie Award for Women Entrepreneurs in 2005 and 2007 for Technology Innovator of the Year and Best Entrepreneur for Service Businesses Up to 100 Employees in Financial Services, respectively.
